The City of Murrieta is accepting applications for the position of Geographic Information System (GIS) Technician to fill a vacancy in the Administrative Services Department.

The GIS Technician is the entry level position in the multi-level GIS job family who is responsible for the creation and analysis of spatial data layers in a large spatial relational database system. This position will create customized maps, data and applications along with compiling and integrating new cartographic data in the GIS data management process.
