The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) has an opening for a GIS Specialist. The GIS Specialist creates and maintains spatial data for the Access and Engagement Department. Applies Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques to develop internal and external reports. Conducts data formatting relating to homeless outreach and performance data analysis. Collects, updates, integrates, and documents geospatial data from the field to existing GIS datasets. Communicates and collaborates with other internal and external departments to address and resolve GIS related services and/or issues. Prepares and maintains comprehensive records and files. Conducts technical research as required.
